Privacy Policy

At Propel CPA, we are committed to meeting our obligations under Canadian Law, including the Personal Information and Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada’s antispam legislation (CASL). To this end, we have established privacy principles which govern the way we collect, store, and use information.

1. We collect information by fair and lawful means and limit the amount and type of information we collect to that which is necessary for our identified purposes. Information is only collected, used, or disclosed with consent (express or implied), except for circumstances permitted or required by law.

2. Propel CPA may use the information we collect for the following purposes:
a. To meet legal requirements;
b. To deliver products, services, and information;
c. To understand our customers and their needs
d. To guide the development of products and services to meet those needs;
e. To Coordinate and compensate marketing efforts; and
f. To protect access to Propel CPA software and track violations of our License Agreement.

3. We use reasonable efforts to ensure that information in our custody is accurate, complete, and current.

4. We are responsible for information in our custody, and use organizational, technological, and physical safeguards to prevent loss and unauthorized use. When required, we ensure that data is destroyed in a highly secure manner.

5. We require our outside service providers to conform to policies that are consistent with our privacy policy, and provide an appropriate level of protection to information that we may supply to them.

6. The overall responsibility for ensuring our compliance with data privacy laws and this privacy policy rest with our Privacy Officer.
